Best Time Management Techniques for Entrepreneurs
To live a successful life, it is necessary to know the value of time and use it effectively. Time management is the process of planning and organizing how an individual will distribute their time among different activities.
Effective time management allows you to accomplish more work in less time. Not using time efficiently can reduce the quality of the work done and cause stress. You can make your time more productive by using different techniques.

Pomodro Technique
According to the method, a task is determined and focused on that task for 25 minutes without interruption. When this period is completed, a short 5-minute break is given. After four Pomodoros are completed, a longer break of 15 to 30 minutes is taken. This cycle prevents distraction, reduces the habit of procrastination and helps to complete tasks in a planned manner.
Kanban Technique
Kanban Technique is a time and process management method that visualizes the workflow and allows tasks to be managed more efficiently. In this method, tasks are usually followed on a board consisting of three main columns as “To Do”, “In Progress” and “Done”. In this way, it is clearly seen which tasks are at which stage and priorities can be determined better.
Eisenhower Matrix
The Eisenhower Matrix is an effective time management method that prioritizes tasks by classifying them according to their importance and urgency. Urgent and important tasks should be done immediately, as they are usually related to crises or deadlines. Important but not urgent tasks, on the other hand, are planned and help to make progress towards long-term goals. Urgent but not important tasks should be delegated to others if possible, because they are low priority in terms of time management. Tasks that are neither urgent nor important are generally time-wasting activities and should be reduced or eliminated completely if possible.
Eat That Frog
The basic principle of this technique is to determine the most difficult, most important or most postponed task (frog) during the day and do it first. As Tracy puts it, if you eat a frog first thing in the morning, the rest of the day will go more easily. This method helps to reduce procrastination and increase productivity. Putting the most difficult or most important task first prevents motivation and distraction later in the day.
Time management is one of the cornerstones of entrepreneurship. An effective time management strategy increases success and makes it easier for entrepreneurs to achieve their goals. Methods such as prioritization, delegation and using productivity tools allow entrepreneurs to make the most of their time.
